Every individual ceramic piece is hand stamped by the artist. Leaving a reminder of the individual care put into its creation.
Why do we have two marks?
We use two marks for the ceramics. If space allows the larger Taller Gingell mark is used. Sometimes the piece is too small or has too intricate of a design for this mark. In this case Wendy places her initial stamp of WG.
What are the other markings I see on some pieces?
These marks are to identify pieces that use a specific glaze, clay body or other modification.
