Barcelona is simple to get around on foot, subway, bus or bike. It’s not necessary to speak Spanish or Catalan.

Getting Around
Public transportation is abundant, affordable and easy to navigate.
The subway and main bus lines are a 2 minute walk from the residency. The main train stations are both about 10 - 15 minute walk away. Currently a subway or bus ticket costs about €3,00, airport is €6,00.
Arriving in Barcelona
Travel from Barcelona airport to the residency:
- by train and subway is about 45 minutes and about €6,00
- by fast airport bus, stop “Plaça Espanya”, is about 20 minutes and about €10,00
- by taxi is about 15 minutes and about €20,00.

Location
We’re located downtown in the city of Barcelona in the Poble-sec neighborhood. Our location is about a 10-12 minute walk to the city center or waterfront.
