    Ceramic Pet Sculpting Workshop

    Bring your beloved pet to life in clay during our hands-on Pet Sculpting Workshop! This 2,5-hour class offers a unique opportunity to sculpt your own dog, cat, bunny, or any pet from home. You’ll be guided through the process of capturing the unique features of your furry (or feathered) friend in ceramic clay, creating a one-of-a-kind sculpture to take home and cherish.

    Led by experienced instructors Emilia Rek (MFA) and Aleksandra Płonka (MFA), this workshop provides a supportive and creative environment where you can transform your pet into a personalized ceramic artwork. Whether you’re a beginner or have some experience, you’ll receive personalized guidance every step of the way.

    This workshop ensures a small group setting for personalized attention, allowing for a successful sculpting experience.

    What you’ll learn and what we’ll do:

    In this fun and interactive evening workshop, you’ll sculpt a lifelike model of your pet using ceramic clay. You’ll focus on capturing their unique characteristics, from the shape of their ears to the curve of their tail. After sculpting, you’ll use AMACO velvet underglazes to paint your creation, adding vibrant colors and personality to your pet sculpture.

    • Sculpt your own pet (dog, cat, bunny, etc.) in ceramic clay
    • Focus on individual features to create a lifelike sculpture
    • Paint your sculpture with AMACO velvet underglazes to personalize it with color

    By the end of the workshop, your pet sculpture will be ready for kiln firing. After a few weeks, you can pick up your finished piece, fired and ready for display.

    This is an in-person, interactive, hands-on workshop.

    Workshop location

    The workshop takes place at the artisan ceramics studio Taller Gingell, located in the Poble-sec neighborhood of Barcelona, close to Montjuïc Park. The studio is easily accessible from the city center and offers a creative space for you to sculpt and paint your pet.
