Potter's Choice-72 Fire & Ice

Introducing PC-72 Fire & Ice, a glaze that embodies contrasts with its deep red hue where applied thick and an icy blue tone where applied thinly. This reduction copper red glaze delivers a dramatic icy blue-colored break on textured surfaces, ideal for electric firing.

For optimal results, apply three coats of Fire & Ice for the best oxblood red color. This glaze layers well over AMACO Celadons, other Potter's Choice, and Satin Matte glazes. However, caution is advised when pairing it with a runny glaze, as there may be a risk of glaze layering fired results running. We recommend testing any layering combination before applying it to a full ceramic piece.

Remember to shake well before use and apply three brush coats to Cone 04 bisque, allowing the glaze to dry between coats. Glaze fire to Cone 5-6. Due to potential variations in raw materials used during manufacturing, we recommend firing glazed test tiles before using each new batch number of glaze.
