Make Your Own Ceramic Planter Class
We offer ceramic classes for anyone that wants to give ceramics a try!
Your teacher, Wendy, will lead 8 students during this 2 hour class. Spend time giving ceramic hand building a try! Come on your own or with a friend - this is an open, friendly environment. No need to bring anything special with you, just arrive 5 minutes before class.
What we’ll make - Your Own Planter Edition
In this edition we’ll learn how to hand build your very own ceramic planter. You’ll learn manual construction methods used in our local ceramics workshop. In this project, you’ll learn new skills that ceramists use when sculpting or building by hand. After your planter is complete you will learn methods to textures, color and other decorations to personalize your creation.
Once finished, we will let our creations dry and they will go to the workshop to be kiln fired. You can pick up your finished piece - a few weeks after the class.
