International Ceramic Art Residency Barcelona

Barcelona is simple to get around on foot, subway, bus or bike. It’s not necessary to speak Spanish or Catalan.

We´ll provide you the Taller Gingell Residency Handbook that covers a whole lot of information.

Getting Around

Public transportation is abundant, affordable and easy to navigate.

The subway and main bus lines are a 2 minute walk from the residency. The main train stations are both about 10 - 15 minute walk away. Currently a subway or bus ticket costs €2,40, airport is €5,15.

Arriving in Barcelona

Travel from Barcelona airport to the residency:

  • by train and subway is about 45 minutes and €5,15
  • by fast airport bus, stop “Plaça Espanya”, is about 20 minutes and €5,90
  • by taxi is about 15 minutes and €20,00.
